For some time i have beleived that NCLB needed to change and recieve major adjustments. This waiver is a step in the right direction. What is most important to me is the assistance that states will get in preparing students for college. There are too many students entering college without the basic skills to be able to perform adequately. This deficit has caused many higher education institutions to create bridge programs to bridge the gaps between high school and college that should not be there. Hopefully this can help!
